JRC offers a Short Term Disability Insurance Plan. This coverage replaces a weekly percentage of your income if you can’t work. JRC pays for 100% of this benefit. This plan has a 7-day elimination period and covers 60% of weekly earnings up to a maximum of $1750.00 a week for 12 weeks, at which time Long Term Disability takes over.

Eligibility:

Employees working at least 30 hours per week are eligible beginning the first of the month following six months of continuous service. A letter is sent by mail congratulating the employee on their six month anniversary and informing them of their eligibility.
